The management development manager drives the preparation and development of all of our leaders. This person will serve a key role in ensuring both community and corporate managers have access to learning resources that will help them become extraordinary managers. The responsibilities include the design, development, delivery and measurement of formal and informal management development solutions. The success of this role will result in a company-wide team of highly capable managers who innovate, delegate and empower the team members to achieve business goals. Essential Functions • Align learning objectives to our goals and business needs • Use modern learning practices and creativity to develop a robust learning strategy for new and current managers • Establish relationships throughout company to conduct needs analysis to better understand the learning needs related to management development • Measure training success through various performance metrics to ensure learning transfer and positive business impact • Implement learning strategies with innovative approaches to management training to maximize learning impact • Support succession planning and career development planning by building skills throughout the organization • Work directly with individual managers upon request to identify performance gaps and potential learning solutions Requirements Requirements • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred • 5 - 10 years of experience in management training and development • Must have experience facilitating training for mid to senior level audiences • Skilled in adult learning theories as they relate to teaching and facilitation methods, techniques and procedures • Experience in courseware development and instructional design, including research, content development, mode of delivery application, and evaluation methods • Skilled platform presenter in small and large group environments • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel & Outlook
