Position Summary


We have an immediate need for your great customer service skills.  East side mortgage company is looking for a Customer Service Representative/Cashier to add to their team.  

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for timely and accurate processing of mortgage payments and other cashiering transactions which will arrive via ACH, wires, checks, and cash. 

The CSR is responsible for assisting and processing all walk-in transactions, answering telephone, email and fax inquiries, and performing other administrative duties. 


Education and/or Experience: 
-Customer Service and cash handling experience preferred 
-Good interpersonal and written communication skills 
-Must be able to organize, prioritize, multitask, and work under 
pressure 
-Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may 
arise 
-Professional attire and appearance required 
-High school diploma or GED 
-Bilingual preferred 

Additional Preferences: 
-General knowledge of basic accounting skills 
-Mortgage banking experience helpful

Responsibilities for Customer Service Representative


*Process payments and payoff checks
*Balance cash and check transactions and prepare deposits on a daily basis
*Responsible for daily electronic check deposits (check imaging) 
*Perform duties such as filing, faxing, photocopying, scanning, etc… 
*Responsible for daily cash drawers and petty cash drawer. 
*Assist Customer Service Representative II with other duties as needed
*Answer phones as needed 
*Reports to Servicing Manager and Assistant Manager

Qualifications for Customer Service Representative


*Customer Service and cash handling experience preferred 
*Good interpersonal and written communication skills
