Houston, Texas — February 16, 2023 — Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), the global research and advisory firm focused on staffing and workforce solutions, unveiled it’s 2023 Staffing 100 North America this week. We are pleased to announce that our President & Founder, Sue Burnett, was again selected as one of this year’s honorees.

Now in its 12th year, the annual list recognizes influential staffing leaders throughout North America who helped their businesses successfully emerge from one of the most difficult periods in recent world history. The list, comprised of so many inspirational leaders, shines a spotlight on those executives making the world of work, work better.

Burnett Specialists Founder and President Sue Burnett is a 52-year staffing industry veteran. In 2022, she received Houston Business Journal’s Lifetime Achievement Award at its Most Admired CEO event. She was also listed among the Top 25 Business Leaders of Houston by The Business Report and listed as a Global Power 150 – Women in Staffing by SIA. Under her leadership, the company’s stock increased 60% this past year and 330% overall since it started an ESOP 12 years ago. In 2022, Burnett Specialists received the Pinnacle Award from the Better Business Bureau of Greater Houston (18th year in a row to receive an Award for Excellence by the BBB), was named a Best Staffing Firm to Work For by SIA, and was listed among America’s best professional recruiting firms by Forbes.

This year’s Staffing 100 North America executives led their companies through strong 14% growth in 2022 to $212.8 billion in revenue for the staffing industry. For comparison, in what was considered an outstanding 2019, the United States staffing industry generated $153.1 billion in revenue.
